Last night, we stayed at Grandma’s house for a sleepover. It was a needed break from all the excitement we’ve been through lately. Afterwards, I took the kids shopping at D.I. to find some clothes for “trek” and for our vacation. I thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures of what it’s like when I take 7 kids shopping…
Can you believe my baby is so big?!
This is my 6 year old. He was trying so hard to get my attention. He wanted to show me the shorts he was trying on, but while he was trying to get my attention, someone else went into his dressing room (because no one was in there) and started using it. He threw a grand tantrum because he wasn’t getting my attention, and because he thought the person in there might try on his clothes and want to buy them!
While we were trying things on, my 13 year old was teasing the baby, and making him scream… lovely!
Finally, we made it to the check out… We always get quite a bit of stares when we’re all together….
All in all, it was a good trip. We got 2 blouses, a shirt, a dress, and some flannel pajamas for trek. We also got about 5 pairs of shorts and a jacket for the kids. We had to stop at Walmart on the way home, and picked up a cowboy hat, some elastic, and flip flops for everybody… Pretty successful trip! =)
