Kerby Music Update

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since my last update! Wow!
Before any more time slips away, let me tell you about two of the songs that I have added to my website.
The first, was written by a good friend of mine, Teri Garritson. She had never written a song before, but with my encouragement, she wrote a beautiful song for the 2010 Young Women’s theme. It’s called, Be Strong and of Good Courage. It’s a beautiful song. Our young women sang it and loved it. She has allowed me to share her music on my website.
The second is a choral (SATB) arrangement of the hymn/primary song Dare to Do Right. I had a lot of fun writing it. It’s simple, fun, but challenging at the same time. Hopefully you’ll like it.
And just so you don’t think I’ve been slacking, (LOL!) I’ll let you know what I’ve been working on the last year. I finished writing a musical called, “We Are Sisters”. It’s about Visiting Teaching and was performed for the first time at a Visiting Teaching Conference in my mother’s ward (I wrote it at her request). It was an amazing experience to write it and see it performed. It was definitely an inspired experience, and I’m grateful to have had that opportunity. I’m excited to get the final copy done, so I can share it with you!
I’m also working on a new website update, and still have great plans for the listening room. Thanks for your patience!
