For our June Family Activity, our family decided to go to a new park, and afterwards went fishing. The activity was lots of fun- the most interesting event that happened, was when we helped save a duck. My kids noticed the poor animal had fishing line tightly wrapped around it’s foot. My husband (the amazing man that he is) surprised us all, when in 5 seconds, he had that goose laying in his lap, totally in his control, while several others came over to untie the poor creature.
My husband was his hero, and the duck was able to hop away– surprised and pleased with his new freedom.
Next to the duck adventures, it was also fun to see my littlest hanging out with a dog he befriended.
And did we catch any fish?? We did! Isn’t it a beauty?! (We threw the tiny guy back in… but oh, so cute!)
