I can not believe how much my kids have been eating lately!
I usually make bread on Mondays. I’ve been doing that for a couple years now. A few months ago, I started making bread twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays. Last week, we ran out before Wednesday, and didn’t have enough for Sunday! I can’t believe it! My son is 13, and I guess he’s in some sort of growing spurt, but it’s not just him. Some of my other kids are telling me they are always starving too. Is this normal?!
I remember when I lived in Springville, I was overhearing a conversation with a bunch of women discussing their highschool boys. They took turns being the house that the kids would walk to for lunch that day. They talked about having to cook all day for it! I thought that was a little excessive…. but maybe not! Wow.
I only have one in high school so far, so if this is just the beginning, I hope I can keep up with it! I’d love any suggestions you might have for what to do, good recipes, lunches, snacks, etc …
