It’s eerily quiet in my house. I just dropped my 4-year-old off for preschool. All my kids are in school. I use to dream about this moment.
I would ask stay-at-home mothers with older children what they did with “ALL” their free time. I was always surprised by the answers that came. “I don’t know” they would say. “I’m just so busy”. Some of them could tell me about work, or volunteering, but others couldn’t even tell me exactly what they did, except that the time just seemed to disappear. I have been determined not to let that happen, but now that it’s here, I’m not sure exactly what to do!
So, for about 2-1/2 hours, three times a week, I have time. I imagine I’ll fill it with projects, website and music, and probably with chores,  shopping, and everything else that needs to be done on a daily basis, but I definitely WANT to fill it up with good things. I always imagine that maybe God has a plan for some of my time as well. I hope I’m open enough to grasp it when those times come. I’m excited to see.
This morning I uploaded a new song, “One in God’s Love“. It’s an inspirational piano song that I wrote for someone wanting to propose to his girl friend. I thought it was very sweet. The title meant something to me as well, and I am sharing one of my first videos with some of my personal story in it.
