I am excited to listen to General Conference today and tomorrow. I have been preparing. A month ago I started reading through all of the last General Conference talks. I don’t remember what prompted me to start doing that, but I just finished reading the last one this morning. Perfect. I feel so much more excited to hear the word of the Lord for me.
I love when I get priesthood blessings. It is the word of the Lord directly to me. I have pondered and read these blessings over and over again and they have ALWAYS helped get me through the obstacles and trials that inevitably come. I am excited for this next General Conference for the same reason. I am listening for the word of the Lord directly for me and what I am going to need for the coming months ahead.
I’ve always taken notes during conference. This time, I’m going to try and only write down the promptings and feelings that I have. I know that the talks will be published and I can read them through again. It will be fun to look over my notes and see what prompted that thought or idea.
