Another week has flown by. I’m surprised how fast the time goes! Last week we’ve been suffering through a little bit of sickness which hasn’t been too fun. I had a terrible sore throat, and my littlest ones were coughing up a storm. The baby seems okay, but even his poop has turned bright green (I thought you all would like to know…)When my daughter was up all night with her ears hurting, that’s when I decided it was time to go to the doctor. My daughter did have an ear infection, but the rest of us will just have to suffer a little longer with whatever this virus is.
Sleep, has been a little bit of an issue for me. It’s amazing how important it is to really feeling good. Last night I was up twice with the baby, but they weren’t for too long, and I actually feel rested! It feels wonderful. I’m just now trying to decide what I want to do with all my “feeling good” energy!
I did finish my lullaby for Tyler. I named it “Bundle of Joy”. I am anxious to share it with everyone, except for the fact that my keyboard is on the fritz again, and I’m not sure how I can record it. I could put the sheetmusic alone on the site, but I think it’s so much nicer if people can also hear how it sounds. Maybe I’ll just have to do a little video of myself playing it. It won’t sound as good as a recording, but I’m also a little hesitant to put myself “on camera”. I’ll keep thinking about that idea.
Well, I don’t have much else to report. Things are good. The kids are loving the baby and Tyler is a doll. It’s funny, I’ve run into two different old friends this week that I found out both had 7 (or 8) children, and both times I found myself with the same reaction I’ve always had of “Wow, that’s a lot of kids!”, it’s always later, even a few minutes later, that I have to shake my head and realize, Wow, that’s how many kids WE have! Crazy. Still the Lord blesses me to keep it all manageable. I’m so grateful, I don’t know how I would do it otherwise…
