I remember when I was growing up, my parents wanted to buy a bigger van. I was the oldest of 9 or 10 at the time, and my parents seriously considered buying a bus! I was so relieved when they came home with a 15 passenger van, instead of the bright yellow school bus they told me they were considering.
I always wondered if they were serious. Well tonight, my husband and I were looking online for used vans, and a couple school busses cropped up. So funny! I don’t think we’re that desperate yet. Right now I can fit all my seven kids in our minivan with me, but if my husband wants to come along (which he does occasionally), then we have to take two cars! So, while we’re looking at our options, I have to consider if I ever might want to pick up my children’s friends, or if we wanted to go on vacation and we need some extra cargo space. If the price was right, I could actually see the benefits of the school bus. At the same time, I can’t believe we are actually considering getting a 15 passenger van!
