Today I want to tell you about some really cool miracles that are happening!
Some of you may have heard about my book. I’ve been talking about it for a while, but I haven’t said much about what will be in it.
One of the reasons is because I was court ordered not to say anything about my marriage or anything that included experiences related to my ex-husband. It’s a little difficult to explain what’s in my book without mentioning anything about my ex. I haven’t known how to move forward with that restriction.
Last week, that all changed. My ex-husband and I signed a publication agreement allowing me to be able to write whatever I wanted! In exchange, he won’t have to pay me as much Alimony each month. It’s more than a win-win to me, to me, it’s a miracle. I feel so humbled and grateful!
God’s also given me extra help. At my weekly Toastmaster’s meeting, a new girl came, Elizabeth Thomas, who helps people put together their personal memoirs and family history stories. Her website is StoriesFromTheHearth.com. She’s been helping me put together my story. It’s finally coming together. I’m moving forward in doing what I’ve wanted to do for such a long time.
God is also giving me lots of opportunities to start sharing the concept now. So many times this last week or so, people have called me saying, “I just felt inspired to talk to you…” These are people, that needed to hear what will be in my book. It’s what I need right now to feel motivated to finish it. I love when people tell me how excited they are to read my book. It really does encourage me! It’s also wonderful to see that what I’m writing about truly does help people in their relationships, marriages and connections with others.
It’s cool to see the “Aha’s” that happen as people learn what they have misperceived or misunderstood about each other. My book is about understanding people and understanding why sometimes the things we do to show love is often misperceived as being mean and unkind. I remember some of the big “Aha’s” I’ve had, and it’s cool to see other people get them as well.
It’s also humbling as I realize that all of the things I’ve learned have come from my own personal experiences, trials and challenges. Without them, I never would have learned what I’ve learned. It gives purpose to my trials and I’m so grateful for each one of them. Every time I share something that helps someone else, it makes the trial worthwhile. It gives purpose to my trials.
I’ll be sharing the concept soon. At least the basics. A friend of mine offered to help set up a webinar for me. I’ve never done a webinar before, but I’m excited to take this next step forward!
